What happens to link text in Markdown?
[Click here](https://example.com) becomes 'Click here'. The visible text is preserved, only the URL is removed.
What about HTML anchor tags?
<a href='…'>Click here</a> becomes 'Click here'. The tag is removed and the inner text is kept.
Can I remove just the URLs without the link text?
Yes. Use 'URLs only' mode to remove bare https:// links only, leaving Markdown and HTML syntax untouched.
Does this handle email addresses?
This tool focuses on HTTP/HTTPS URLs. Email addresses (mailto:) are not stripped in the current version.
