Common Questions
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
It depends on the tool. Text, developer, QR, and image resize and crop run only in your browser. Other file tools, including PDF Merge, Split PDF, Rotate PDF, Reorder PDF, and Remove PDF pages, upload in Standard mode or stay on your device in Privacy Mode. Server files expire after 30 minutes and cleanup removes them shortly afterward.
Why is my compressed image slightly over the target?
Some images cannot be compressed below a certain size without unacceptable quality loss. Try a larger target or reduce dimensions first.
Can I use Tools in Reach commercially?
Yes. Tools in Reach is free for both personal and commercial use.
